28 walks in the Lake District with sketch maps and route directions. Plenty of colour photographs to encourage you to go out and walk. Routes are rather too varied for my taste - 2 mile level strolls and 10 mile fell routes are both represented. The production of some of the photographs (surely the main reason for the glossy presentation) also fell a little flat - the pictures seem too dark in many cases. Still, 28 walks to have a go at.
